CSIRO pixel art celebration of 100 000 likes on Facebook, featuring Lee Lin Chin

CSIRO pixel art celebration of 100 000 likes on Facebook, featuring Lee Lin Chin

Recently the CSIRO's Facebook page reached 100 000 likes. At the 50 000 mark, a year earlier, I had done a little animation on my iPad. Having a swanky graphics tablet and fun pixel art animation program, I was keen to do a little clip for the 100 K mark. At the time, my co-worker organised a fantastic campaign with Lee Lin Chin to bring in +30 000 fans to our page. This pixel art animation features the newscaster turned pop icon.

Pixel art parrot boss

Pixel art parrot boss

This is a boss I was working on a friends' video game. The boss for this particular 'world', was a part-woman, part-parrot enemy, who would fly around and shoot eggs at the player, and shite at the ground to melt away the floor. The project has been temporarily shelved.
